Forgotten things
Have you ever had something that you wore all the time and only rarely took off? I’m that way with my wedding/engagement rings. I only take them off for the few minutes I’m in the shower every day. Well, this morning, I forgot to put them back on after the shower, and I’ve been feeling weird all day. I have this habit of fiddling with them (especially the engagement ring) while I’m thinking or my hands are otherwise idle, and all day, I’ll go to do that, only to realize the ring isn’t there. It’s about to drive me nuts. I have to do some errands after work, but I keep thinking, maybe I’ll run by home real quick (even though it’s way out of the way) and get my rings first… Silly, isn’t it?

I definitely understand. I think the scenario holds especially true with rings, at least for me. All of my rings are permanent fixtures, so if they ever get left at home I am distracted and unproductive all day. Maybe you could make substitute rings out of rolled up pieces of paper!

I’ve had a couple things like that… I have a small charm I’ve worn on a cord around my neck for the past… 4 years or more. It kinda bugs me when I leave it hanging next to the shower sometimes… but not too much because I often can’t even tell I’m wearing it anyway. I also used to have a small silver ring a friend had made for me too… that I wore constantly for a couple years and never ever took it off. After I lost it (another friend borrowed it and never gave it back >.

Well.. I’m stumped - there isn’t supposed to be a character limit on comments. Did a little searching over on the WP site and haven’t found anything there either.
Man I need to fix the zen comment stuff.. I knew I was forgetting something, but this looks kinda crummy.

yep, that’s what it was.. interesting.
oddly enough, if I use the WP editor to edit a comment, it does work, but if you enter it from the comment form (like any of you would), it breaks. I guess the form reads it as you opening an unrecognized tag. o.O
