All hail the great chicken
Harrisonburg finally has a Chick-fil-a. Huzzah!
This is a big deal for me; I love Chick-fil-a food, and I’ve mostly had to go without while living up here. I’m surprised people were camping out overnight though.. that seems a little weird to me.
Edit (1/27/06): So we went to eat there last night. We were greeted at the door by Mr. Truett Cathy, the founder of the company. There were people all over the place. I have to say, they know how to do a grand opening. Free brownie samples, a staff member wandering around the dining room and refilling people’s drinks, etc. I’m sure it’s all just a marketing ploy, but it’s a darn good one.

I’m not surprised. It’s Harrisonburg, it’s fast-food chicken, and it’s Christian. Finally, the country bumpkins can eat and be Holy at the same time!
