I can’t even begin to imagine how long it must have taken to set this thing up. Pretty nifty though.

The town I live in isn’t all that big. It’s home to a few universities and a rather small mall, but it’s been growing. Still, this story kind of caught me by surprise. This isn’t the kind of event I expect to hear about here in the ‘Burg. It’s small scale compared to a lot of things that happen across the world, but the typical crime here is someone knocking off a convenience store, or a college kid getting into a wreck. Kind of freaky.
This Wii trailer from E3 seems to indicate that Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be released for the Wii (the Zelda spot is about 3/4 of the way through the video, but some of the other games are pretty interesting to watch too). I’m a little disappointed, because Nintendo had been saying that TP would be coming out for the GameCube, which I already own.
As Fishhead so kindly pointed out, it’s been a while since I wrote anything. It’s not because of Oblivion, though. I’ve been really blah about everything for a while. I have several new games that I want to play, just not enough to actually go play them. Sad, I know. I’ve been sort of mucking around with a MUD project, but my track record with actually finishing anything is so low that there’s really no telling where that’ll go.
Jon and I had a week off last week, which was nice. We didn’t really do anything of note, though. Hung out, played Legends Forgotten, a Wheel of Time-based MUD, watched a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (which is really the best TV show ever, right behind Firefly), bought a few seasons of Angel (no, we’re not obsessed with Joss Whedon or anything), etc. All in all, it was a nice relaxing week. Our movie collection finally completely outgrew the media shelves that we have to hold it, though, so we’re sort of in the market to find bigger and better media shelves. (Hm.. I guess I should update Listal sometime, too, it’s rather behind, as Matt pointed out the other day)
In other news, we’re going to be moving sometime soon, probably in August. My in-laws (who own the townhouse we’re currently renting) have decided to cut and run before the neighborhood gets too much worse, so they’ve signed a contract on another townhouse in a new neighborhood. That means our townhouse will go up for sale at some point soonish, and we’ll be moving to the new one at some point after it finishes. Yep, it’s brand new. And it has a garage, woot! Actually, it’s very similar to where we are now, just .. newer, and hopefully with less obnoxious neighbors. I’m really looking forward to being moved, if not to the moving process itself.
Anyway, I’m still alive. I haven’t had much to say recently though, hence the silence here. Sorry.
