Heh, welcome to the world of unusual IM. My Jabber server occasionally suggests I’ve been online for -3 years and xx minutes.. usually if the clock has jumped too far forward.

nah.. if you lose connection, you get logged back in, but sometimes the idle timer isn’t reset.

This person you’re IM’ing is obviously some sort of supernatural creature with power over the laws of time and space. I mean, look at him! You can see it in those beady little eyes. *shiver*
